One of the most unique things about writing is that you as the author have full control of the content that you write. One of the hardest things though is sharing what you see in your mind and making it appear on paper. Words have power. They have the power to inspire, to degrade, to open doors, close them, and give visions and dreams to those who see them.
The thing is this, if you read the words yourself and you cannot see what it is you are trying to share, you have to go back and do a rewrite. Not always an easy thing to do, but it is necessary. Books have to convey a story and become understandable to the reader. Just as in the days of travelling storytellers, you are now doing the story, only the story is traveling in print. Choose your words carefully, think about the story your telling, and most of all, have fun writing the story. Only you can tell the story your seeing, and only you can write it in a way for other to see your imagination and creation.
